### Editorial Review of the JBL Quantum 100 Wired Over-Ear Gaming Headset The JBL Quantum 100 Wired Over-Ear Gaming Headset has garnered mixed reviews, positioning itself as a budget-friendly option for gamers looking to enhance their audio experience. At a price point under £19, many users appreciate the combination of good sound quality and comfortable design that JBL is known for, especially given the lack of Bluetooth capabilities which contributes to its affordability. Users have highlighted the headset's comfort, noting that its adjustable strap and ear cups effectively enhance prolonged gaming sessions without discomfort. The inclusion of a handy mute button and volume control on the headset adds practicality, catering to gamers who appreciate quick adjustments during gameplay. Furthermore, sound separation is praised by several reviewers; many have commented on the headset's ability to convey directionality in sound, which is crucial for competitive gaming. On the flip side, there are significant concerns regarding the audio performance. While some users have found the sound quality satisfactory, others argue it falls short of expectations, particularly criticizing the maximum volume level and lack of noise isolation. Additionally, an important point of contention for Xbox users is the incompatibility of the microphone with certain Consoles, which could deter potential buyers. In summary, the JBL Quantum 100 is celebrated for its value and comfort but is marred by varied opinions on sound quality and microphone compatibility on Xbox. It stands as a decent choice for budget-Conscious gamers, but those seeking premium audio experiences might want to explore other options. ### Pros and Cons **
