Format: DVD Anime Editorial Review
The **Castle in the Sky** DVD import has generally received positive feedback from customers who appreciate its unique features compared to the Japanese version. Users have noted the advantages of having two types of English subtitles: one that follows the dialogue closely and another that provides additional contextual expressions. This not only aids in language learning but also enhances the viewing experience. The English voice acting differs from the original Japanese, with some expressing initial surprise at the maturity of the characters’ voices, yet many found them clear and easy to understand. The film's story continues to resonate with viewers, particularly its themes of innocent love, making it a beloved choice among Ghibli fans. Parents have reported their children enjoying the movie in English, citing it as a fun way to engage with the language. The product's good condition and affordability further contribute to its appeal. However, a few customers encountered issues with compatibility on their devices, specifically with Blu-ray players, which led to returns. Overall, the **Castle in the Sky** DVD import stands out for those interested in experiencing the classic film with an English twist, particularly for language learners or parents seeking to introduce their children to Ghibli works through a different lens. **
