- The elements required in the diaphragm plate are 1 lightweight to allow agile movements acceleration and deceleration, 2 High rigidity due to intense piston driving, 3 High dampening properties damping are eliminated against the unique sound of the material, and the KarityTM cone meets all these requirements. KlarityTM cones are high rigidity to reduce the bending of the unit itself, while being lightweight for low speed regeneration with high repounce performance. The KlarityTM cone also simulates many different cone shapes, resulting in an added 15% more rigidity by adding resin ribs. KlarityTM cones achieve flat response characteristics at the same time without relying on high damping
- Precision engineered magnetic system with aluminum rings that minimize the impact of interaction dance inductor fluctuations caused by voice coil driving. The aluminum ring installed in the DIAMOND 12 series magnet system helps to reduce the energy caused by distortion and cross interference generated by drive
- DIAMOND 12 Series Voice Coils are made of high-power, expensive epoxy resin that is unmatched in its class, wrapped in fiberglass bobbins. Epoxy resin acts to reduce the generation of excess current formed by electromagnetic induction, providing superior power handling and high rigidity compared to aluminum bobbins used in many speaker systems
- The DIAMOND 12 series tweeters are surface treated with a polyester woven film that allows for smooth treble reproduction. The front plate is flat, allowing the dome to be exposed as much as possible and smoothly expanding the treble. Also balances acoustic loads with only the ducts on the front plate, while the magnetic system optimizes sound pressure levels
