It can be mounted both vertically and horizontally and comes in a new packaging with a bag and frame available for purchase separately. The color temperature is fixed at 5600k but an orange filter can be used to make it 3200k. The light has a slight magenta shift but the quality is pretty good overall. One reviewer noted that the LED bulbs may be of low quality as the light developed a green tint, making them unusable. Overall, the Falcon Eyes RX-12T is a fine light, putting out a good amount of light and providing a compact package for traveling. While the new packaging is a nice idea, it does not work well in practice with weirdly cut out shapes. The folding frame is also problematic and the X-bracket does not fit well on the back of the light. The light is not dimmable and has a fixed color temperature but can work with most V-mount batteries.
