Questions et réponses des clients
-
question:
How does the TERRO Indoor Electric Flea Trap work?
répondre: The TERRO Indoor Electric Flea Trap works by using a combination of heat, light, and specially formulated glue boards that attract fleas from up to 30 feet away. When the trap is plugged in, it emits warmth that mimics the body heat of pets and humans, drawing fleas towards it. Once they come close, they are caught on the SuperGrabber glue boards, providing effective pest control. This method is non-toxic and safe to use in environments where children and pets are present. -
question:
Is the TERRO Indoor Electric Flea Trap safe for pets and children?
répondre: Yes, the TERRO Indoor Electric Flea Trap is designed with safety in mind. It utilizes a non-toxic method for flea control, meaning it does not release harmful chemicals into your home. The trap simply attracts fleas using heat and light, while the glue boards capture them, making it a safe option for households with pets and children. Always ensure the trap is placed in areas that are out of reach of children and pets to prevent any stray interactions with the glue boards. -
question:
How often do I need to replace the glue boards?
répondre: The frequency of replacing the glue boards in the TERRO Indoor Electric Flea Trap largely depends on the level of flea infestation. Typically, it's advisable to check the boards weekly. If you notice a significant buildup of captured fleas or after a few weeks of consistent use, replacing the boards will help maintain the trap's effectiveness. Having extra SuperGrabber glue boards on hand is beneficial, ensuring continual trap performance in the fight against fleas. -
question:
Can the TERRO Indoor Electric Flea Trap eliminate fleas in carpets?
répondre: While the TERRO Indoor Electric Flea Trap is effective at capturing adult fleas, it is not a standalone solution for eliminating fleas in carpets. Fleas can live in carpets, bedding, and upholstery, so it's recommended to combine the use of the trap with thorough cleaning methods, such as vacuuming and washing pet bedding. By eliminating the breeding grounds for fleas, the trap can significantly reduce the overall flea population in your home. -
question:
How long does it take for the trap to start working?
répondre: The TERRO Indoor Electric Flea Trap starts working almost immediately after it is plugged in. Upon activation, the trap begins to emit warmth and light, which can attract fleas right away. However, noticeable results in capturing fleas may take a few days, particularly in heavily infested areas. Therefore, it's recommended to allow the trap to run continuously for optimal performance, especially in environments where fleas are more prevalent. -
question:
Where can I place the TERRO Indoor Electric Flea Trap for best results?
répondre: For optimal results, place the TERRO Indoor Electric Flea Trap in areas where you've noticed flea activity, such as near pet resting spots, along baseboards, and in entryways. Fleas are often found in warm, dark places, so positioning the trap in these locations will enhance its effectiveness. Additionally, to maximize its range, ensure the trap is not obstructed by furniture or other objects that could hinder flea attraction. -
question:
How does the refillable feature of the TERRO Indoor Electric Flea Trap work?
répondre: The TERRO Indoor Electric Flea Trap features a refillable design, allowing you to easily replace the glue boards. When the current board is full, simply pop it out and insert a new one without needing to discard the entire trap. This feature makes it convenient to maintain the trap's effectiveness over time while minimizing waste. Having a few extra SuperGrabber glue boards readily available ensures uninterrupted use. -
question:
What types of pests can the TERRO Indoor Electric Flea Trap capture?
répondre: The primary focus of the TERRO Indoor Electric Flea Trap is adult fleas, making it particularly effective for addressing flea problems. However, it may also capture other small flying insects that are attracted to light, such as moths or small flies. This versatility makes it a useful tool not only for flea control but for addressing a broader range of minor pest issues in your home. -
question:
How does the TERRO Indoor Electric Flea Trap compare to chemical treatments?
répondre: The TERRO Indoor Electric Flea Trap offers a chemical-free alternative to traditional pest control methods, making it safer for homes with children and pets. Unlike chemical treatments that require strict application procedures and can pose health risks, the electric flea trap provides a passive, non-toxic method of capturing fleas. While chemical treatments may offer faster eradication of a flea population, the trap serves as an effective tool for ongoing monitoring and maintenance of flea control. -
question:
