The module will work with any class of amplifier and can eliminate speaker thump when powering off the amplifier. However, be aware that the three capacitors labeled 100uf-10uf-100uf need to be changed to those values to provide enough delay. The correct values provide a 2-second delay. Nevertheless, some customers have noted that the unit does not have any turn-on delay because the capacitor values actually deviate from what is printed on the circuit board. Therefore, replacing the 3 black caps in the center of the board from 47,15,47 to the proper 100,50,100 provides a 2-second delay and removes the turn-on transient.
