    répondre: They fit on a Model 88 also. Look identical to me. I had a Model 70 in .300 WSM. Different mounts entirely.
  • question: Why are there two smaller and two larger screws? Are the large screws for the back?

    répondre: When done correctly, the screws when placed in each of the four screw holes will be protruding out from the bottom by the same amount
  • question: Will the extended mount give me more adjustments to move the scope back?

    répondre: No, only one is extended. I bought an extended one by mistake then got the standard one. I kept them both, never know you might want to use a short scope-extended would come in handy! Talleys are the best and so are Warne; the Warne are just a little heavier! Aluminum versus st

    répondre: Yes! Go as low as possible! Leave room between the scope and barrel 1/4 inch or more!
