However, there are some Cons to this device. The device suffers from random audio dropouts via optical out, and the power plug is cheap. The DAC is also flat sounding and doesn't offer a rich sound presentation. Also, it does not work as a replacement for a USB transmitter. The headphone and line out are switched from the remote, but only one can be active.
