    répondre: Sure... but as with any battery, it comes down to how many amp hours your battery can deliver ... bigger is better. I’ve got mine running off a car battery and 15 watt solar panel w a cheap $12 charge controller. Typically this setup keeps up with the fence... it runs all night and is still going in the morning before the solar panel kicks in. Occasionally, in the colder weather I’ll need to fully charge the battery on my bench.

    répondre: My husband installed the wires lower to deter rodents and other small creatures who might be hanging around our raised beds. We had two wires running around the beds-the lower one and one a bit higher so the deer would be discouraged. Seemed to work well as we had a great harvest. I think it’s worth a try.
