Questions et réponses des clients

  • question: What is the 0.96 OLED Module I2C IIC Serial 128X64 used for?

répondre: The 0.96 OLED Module is widely used for displaying data in a clear, high-contrast format. Its 128x64 pixel resolution makes it suitable for applications like weather displays, sensor data visualization, or project status indicators in Arduino projects and Raspberry Pi setups. This module supports I2C/IIC communication, making it easy to connect with microcontrollers and simplifying the integration process in complex projects.
  • question: How do I connect the OLED display module to an Arduino?

répondre: To connect the OLED display module to an Arduino, you typically need to connect the VCC and GND pins to power it, and the SDA and SCL pins to the corresponding I2C pins on the Arduino. This simple connection allows for easy communication. Ensure you have the necessary libraries installed, such as the Adafruit SSD1306 library, to facilitate coding and display control in your projects, making it perfect for data visualization applications.
  • question: What programming languages can I use with this OLED display?

répondre: The most popular programming language for this OLED module is Arduino C/C++, primarily used with Arduino IDE. However, it can also be programmed using Python on Raspberry Pi. These languages allow developers to create interactive and visually appealing applications, whether you're implementing simple sensor data readings or developing elaborate graphics projects, thereby enhancing the usability of your electronics projects.
  • question: Can I use this OLED display with Raspberry Pi?

répondre: Yes, the 0.96 OLED Module is compatible with Raspberry Pi. To use it, you would connect it via the GPIO pins for I2C communication and utilize library support like Adafruit's Python libraries. This compatibility opens numerous possibilities, from building custom interfaces for your Pi projects to running scripts that display real-time information, making your projects more interactive and informative.
  • question: What information can I display on the OLED screen?

répondre: The OLED screen can display a wide range of information such as text, graphics, alerts, and real-time sensor data. With its ability to render detailed images and text, you can use it for showing system status, notifications, or graphical interfaces. This versatility makes it perfect for both educational projects and complex commercial applications, allowing users to create rich, engaging displays.
  • question: Is the OLED module suitable for outdoor use?

répondre: The OLED module is best suited for indoor applications due to its limited brightness compared to LCDs that are designed for outdoor visibility. If you intend to use it outdoors, consider housing it in a protective enclosure to shield it from direct sunlight and environmental conditions. Using it for portable devices or projects that will primarily be used in shaded areas can yield excellent results.
  • question: What microcontroller boards can I use with this module?

répondre: This OLED display module is compatible with a variety of microcontroller boards, including Arduino (such as Uno, Nano, and Mega), Raspberry Pi, MSP430, and STM32. DIYmall Single Board Computers Editorial Review

The DIYmall 0.96 OLED Module is a small, affordable and easy to use screen that can work with any Arduino or variant. Users can read this display in direct sunlight as it is bright enough. Answers to user Q&A reveal that this screen is a 128x64 OLED Display Module with SSD1306 Driver and can display either blue or yellow pixels. The top portion contains two pages of yellow while the bottom Consists six pages of blue. There is a black horizontal line that separates the top 2 pages from the 6 bottom ones. Feedback from users say that the OLED Module works well with Raspberry Pi, Arduino and other similar devices with an I2C communication interface. One user managed to get it working with the FT232H USB to I2C device and CircuitPython on PC while another user was able to easily replace the screen on their True D module. However, one user experienced a broken second one and did not attempt to replace it. The OLED Module lacks any brightness feature, with its pixels being either on or off. Overall, the OLED Module is simple to use and a fantastic option if looking for an affordable small display screen.
