    répondre: The color shown here is about exactly correct. Not quite maroon not exactly red... over all i think they are perfect.

    répondre: More of a brick red, not too bright
  • question: Can I put this in an oven with cold food on it at 450 bake or broil?

    répondre: No oven no broiler for heating food, (s). I use in microwave and cover with a vented plastic cover. So far no breakages.

    répondre: I bought 2 different sizes of players in the same design.
  • question: Can these plates be used with oil based markers for kids to draw on then put in the oven to seal the marker?

    répondre: While I have no expertise in the subject, I would guess that this would not work. This China is designed to be largely impervious to stains or other issues so I doubt that the oil from the markers will stay put warm enough to fire.
  • question: Does Corelle Bandhani contain lead?

    répondre: Corelle has been lead free since 2005. If you are using the older ones, please stop using them. I would go for the ones that are made from 2006 up to be safe. If you want to absolutely sure, but a lead home test kit. Hope this helps anyone who has this question . As of Corelle plates, they are really a great to use and lightweight . They do not break or chip easily. I highly recommend them to families who have children.
