The film is a comedy, full of symbolism, fantasy sequences and beautiful cinematography, set in an Italian village in the 50s. However, it can be hard to follow, so it may not be for everyone. The restoration process for the Blu-ray is done well, but the film is not recommended as a starting point for those new to Fellini.
