The Global Caché IP2CC iTach TCPIP to Contact Closure Converter is a compact and flexible device designed for home automation. While it does not come with control software, it has a web interface for configuration and can be controlled via the iRule software, which is sold separately. It acts as an open/close switch but does not send 12V - it is just a relay. It does not have commands for momentary closure, and it's not recommended for controlling a 230V light circuit. However, it's a great solution for automating low voltage devices that don't have integration solutions over IP or RS232. The configuration can be a challenge with anything but Firefox browser, but once configured, the device seems rock solid.
