GoodCook Food Strainers 20445 Editorial Review
**Editorial Review of the Good Cook Touch 8-Inch Strainer** The Good Cook Touch 8-Inch Strainer has garnered positive attention from customers who appreciate its lightweight and sturdy design. Users love the ultra-fine mesh that effectively strains and retains food particles, making it ideal for a variety of kitchen tasks such as steaming vegetables and straining homemade stock. The rubber handle and wide rim add to its usability, allowing for easy handling, especially when dealing with heavy contents. Many reviews reveal that the strainer performs well without compromising quality even after regular use, with one user stating it had "earned its keep" after years of daily operation. However, some have reported that issues can arise after extended use; a few individuals noted that the handle might eventually break under rigorous handling, and the mechanism that holds the mesh in place can loosen over time. Additionally, while the strainer is perfect for medium and large pans, the design may not be as stable when placed on larger pots due to the lip's curvature, leading to some precarious moments when straining heavier contents. Despite these potential downsides, the strainer's effectiveness in filtering and the ease of cleaning—especially being dishwasher safe—are cited as major advantages. It’s worth noting that the product's reception is generally favorable, with many customers expressing their satisfaction and recommending the brand. **
